This announcement is a little late. Just a tad! The April SCVS meeting will be THIS Sunday, April 15th, 2007 at 4:00pm. 

This meeting will once again be at Edge of the Woods, a natural foods grocery at 379 Whalley Ave in New Haven.  Click here for directions to the meeting.

As usual we'll be having a potluck meal, and Kathleen Shurman will be telling us all about how Duck's Soup, the vegetarian cafe in Hamden, is doing, as well as her work in horse rescue. With luck she'll bring lots of samples from the cafe too ;-)

For the potluck, please bring a dish serving 4-6. All dishes at our potlucks must be vegan (all vegetarian, of course, with no dairy, eggs or honey please) so as to be enjoyed by the largest group of members. Please bring a slip of paper with the ingredients to help anyone with allergies or food sensitivities. Remember to bring a serving spoon as well. You can be creative! Spring is here, go nuts!  Come and socialize with vegetarians from throughout our area.
