On Sunday, March 18th 2007 SCVS held a meeting at Edge of the Woods Natural Foods Grocery in New Haven, CT. In addition to the usual vegan potluck meal we were joined by Nirav Shah who spoke about the new "chic vegetarian" (vegan) restaurant him and his family have opened called Ahimsa Restaruant. The Little Vegan Monsters crew were there and SCVS members were reminded of LVM's cookbook release party / vegan cupcake eating contest the following weekend.
