The first SCVS meeting of 2007 washeld on Sunday, January 14th at 4:00pm. The location for our meetings was changed! We'll  met at Edge of the Woods, a natural foods grocery in New Haven. Members were advised to arrive early or stay a little late to get some shopping done,as  Edge is a great place to get hard-to-find items. 

The meeting featured vegan personal chef Mary Lawrence giving a talk and un-cooking demonstration entitled "Raw Resolutions." Trust us, her raw recipes were awesome! As usual we also had a vegan potluck meal, and members were asked to please bring something to share (or pick something up at Edge when they arrived).
