I'm very happy to announce the next meeting of the Southern Connecticut Vegetarian Society.  The January SCVS meeting will be on Sunday, January 14th, 2007. 

January's meeting will be our first meeting returning to Edge of the Woods, a natural foods grocery at 379 Whalley Ave in New Haven.  Click here for directions to the meeting.

As usual we'll be having a potluck meal, and Mary Lawrence, a long-time SCVS supporter and vegan personal chef, will be teaching us how to stick to a "Raw Resolution" for the New Year. Come and enjoy! Start off the new year with something different, or show of your raw repertoire. 

For the potluck, please bring a dish serving 4-6. All dishes at our potlucks must be vegan (all vegetarian, of course, with no dairy, eggs or honey please) so as to be enjoyed by the largest group of members. Please bring a slip of paper with the ingredients to help anyone with allergies or food sensitivities. Remember to bring a serving spoon as well. You can be creative! Enjoy the flavors of the season and socialize with vegetarians from throughout our area.

A followup message will be sent out during the week before the event with final times.
