Hello Everyone,

This message is a reminder that the February SCVS meeting will be this Sunday, February 12th, 2006 at 5:00pm.  There snow should be light by the afternoon and we expect the roads won't be a problem. If the snow is too heavy I will email again on Sunday to call off the meeting. Right now we expect the meeting to go ahead as planned.

The meeting will be at the North Haven Congregational Church at 28 Church Street, North Haven CT.  Click here for a map to the meeting. We will be featuring author and vegetarian historian Rynn Berry as a guest speaker. Rynn is coming in from NYC to speak to us about his new book Fruits of Tantalus: A History of Vegan Rawfoodism and Fruitarianism (with Recipes).

The meeting will, as usual, also feature a vegan potluck meal. Please bring a dish serving 5-7. All dishes at our potlucks must be vegan (all vegetarian, of course, with no dairy, eggs or honey please) so as to be enjoyed by the largest group of members. Please bring a slip of paper with the ingredients to help anyone with allergies or food sensitivities. Remember to bring a serving spoon as well. You can be creative!
